ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL PRACTICES AND HOME ATHLETIC COMPETITIONS ARE HELD AT KING STREET.
In Middle School, students participate in competitive sports for the first time; team play and sportsmanship, however, are emphasized more than winning. Fifth and sixth graders compete in intramurals, while seventh and eighth graders play a variety of interscholastic sports. The athletic teams include football, soccer, basketball, hockey, squash, wrestling, baseball, tennis and lacrosse. Brunswick teams are organized according to skill level, so that every boy can participate actively and experience success.
Since most of the coaches at Brunswick also serve as classroom teachers, the school sports program allows students to associate with faculty members in a more relaxed, informal atmosphere and contributes significantly to the school's special spirit of camaraderie.
Brunswick is a member of the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA), the Western New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Association (WNEPSA) and the New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Council (NEPSAC).
