Welcome

Our youngest boys enter our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten program full of life and energy, curiosity and innocence. We tap these qualities to begin character-building at a very early age. By using a caring, nurturing and fun approach, we develop in our Pre-K and Kindergarten boys an excitement about learning and a readiness for the academic subjects they will encounter at higher levels in Lower School and beyond. Early on, the boys learn to have a positive attitude about themselves, others and the School. Basic learning skills are fostered through integrated activities incorporating early math, reading and writing, science, art, music and athletics. Students are also introduced to computers and the Spanish language. Parents occasionally join us in the classroom or on field trips to promote our hands-on approach. Each Pre School child's uniqueness is celebrated while he develops cooperative learning skills and understands what it means to be a kind and caring classmate.

The navigation buttons on the left of this page detail the Pre-School and Lower School program which Brunswick crafts as an integrated learning process. In viewing each of the academic subjects, it is important to see them in the light of a six year curriculum which builds to prepare boys for the demands of the Middle School. Boys who enter after Pre-K are quickly adapted to the academic levels, focus and pace of the program.
